How Do I Install Them

The first thing you will do when you install car propane kit is to mount the kit in the vehicle. The best location is an open location, not enclosed. You can replace a gas tank with the propane tank in trucks and vans and in passenger cars they fit in the trunk. Take the cover to the trunk off so the tank is not enclosed.

The next thing you will need to do when installing a car propane kit is run the hoses. These are liquid propane hoses that need to be strategically ran to prevent rocks, curbs, and other irregularities with the road from damaging the hoses.

The final thing that needs to be done with car propane kits is to fuel up the car so you can verify if there are leaks anywhere. Look near the filter and check for leaks. Also, be sure to adjust the timing so it is set to idle a little bit slower.

There isn't much maintenance required when you run a propane kit on your car. The spark plugs are usually the only problem that arises with cars converted to propane.
